I had a rough beginning as my first owner neglected me even though I had a terrible tumor and infection in my ear. I also had a tumor on my leg. Oh, and I was very hungry and skinny when Florida Great Pyrenees Rescue first met me. I am happy to say that I have put on some much needed weight and best of all – my tumors have been removed and I am cancer-free! Noelle is a 6 year old spayed female Great Pyrenees who acts like a 3 or 4 year old. She is sweet and playful, and despite the hard times she has been through in her life she has a lot of love to give. She was taken from a neglect situation by Animal Control in December 2014, and we became her foster parents right after that. When she first came to us she had lost at least 50% of her hair and had a severe skin infection. We have worked hard to get her to the much improved state she is in today, with several months of medications, baths 2-3 x per week, and lots of TLC. Now she is ready to find her forever home. Hi I’m the lovely Kate, about 5yrs.old with special needs. I’m super sweet and get along with everyone. My knee pops out sometimes so I may walk funny I compensate when this happens and sometimes my nerves will pinch me in my back so I’m starting my pain medication that is very affordable 6 dollars for 3 months supply. I’ll have to take fish oil also, exercise to keep my weight down. All of this was genetic, and arthritis has set in my knees and back.
