After a long and exhausting day, the results are in!
Success!! On many fronts. We didn’t sell too much at our booth,
but had loads of donations! I discovered that it’s
better to be over prepared and always pack the sides of the
tent…just in case…and needed them several times for rain
spurts. And most of all, always go big with silent auction stuff.
Our table was the only one who sold everything and we raised over
$1100!! More will be coming after the event coordinator tallies
the take from the event. All in all a profitable day. Thanks so
much to all who came out to visit and talk about the dogs, my non
pyr friends who shuffled auction stuff for me, Petco, Thee Hair
and Beauty Gallery, the Browns, Shelly’s Grooming and all the
other donors of our baskets and especially Cindy who helped wrap
baskets until the wee hours. 14 hours are a bit much but well
worth it!
