Hi, I’m Bella and I am 11 months old and hear that I am the sweetest girl!
Love: going for walks in the neighborhood, snoozing on my foster mom’s bed, playing with my toys from time to time, drinking water, being brushed and the occasional treat.
Not a fan: loud noises (especially loud trucks and motorcycles on my walks), too many people too quickly (I am a little shy, but with time warm up to people and places).
Ideal home: I need a home that will be patient and work with me on my socializing. I love people, I just need time to warm up to them. I need a family that will give me time to come out of my shell and not easily give up on me. I have had a few families in my short life and need to know I can trust where I end up next as my furever home!
I get along well with other dogs and they bring me out of my shell so I think a home with another dog would help me socialize even more. I don’t seem to mind cats (but have not been one on one with any).
I am extremely well behaved for my age. I do not jump on people, I am very calm, I bark less than most pyrs and will stop when told my guard duties aren’t needed and I am a delight on the leash!
I am 98% potty trained. So it would be ideal to have a fenced in yard with a dog door so I can let myself out. I have been unsure of my surroundings while in foster care and have been a bit scared and have had an accident or two, but ultimately I am pretty good about this and wait to go outside!
