Hi, my name is Moose – yes I am a tall pyr! My foster mom says I am a very sweet and handsome man. I had a rough beginning as my first owner neglected me even though I had a terrible tumor and infection in my ear. I also had a tumor on my leg. Oh, and I was very hungry and skinny when Florida Great Pyrenees Rescue first met me. I am happy to say that I have put on some much needed weight and best of all – my tumors have been removed and I am cancer-free! My ear had to be removed so that I could be healthy again, but I don’t miss it and I hear just fine from my other ear. I am a very well behaved 7 year old boy. I have a wonderful foster family with other dogs and children and I love them, but I would really like most of all, is to have my own forever home.
I am new to rescue and am still being evaluated by a foster family. Once they have gotten to know me, we will update this information.
