Her adopted family reports she is doing well, and have shared a photo of their new family member peacefully lounging in the yard. Thank you to Addy's family for sharing the photo, and to all the members of the club (too many to list) that helped make a happy ending for Addy possible.

Rescue Update PDF Print E-mail
There have been quite a few dogs entering rescue lately. Gathering up pictures and bios from foster families for the website takes a little time, so please be patient. If you have friends, family, neighbors, or even strangers that ask about your dog, let them know we have plenty of lovely dogs from which to choose for pets.

To keep our momentum going, the records show with everyone's combined efforts there have been 35 dogs to find their forever homes so far this year. Since it takes a minimum of 8 persons per dog to get them settled into just the right place, this means our club is really working hard and truly saving lives.

We have had several families step up to foster, opening their homes and hearts to help another Pyr. If you want to join this stellar group, please let Terry, Chantal, or Debbie know--your help will be very much appreciated! Tip: there is a brand-spanking new foster family in our midst because one of our members posted on their Facebook page that we needed fosters! Keep spreading the word!

CSX Donation PDF Print E-mail
The rescue just received a check from CSX Corporation and the CSX Good Government Fund sent to us at the request of Shirley Farrell in the amount of $569.28. This is another great example of the many corporate programs we can leverage to continue our rescue efforts. A thank you goes out to Shirley, and all the other wonderful FGPC volunteers who help keep funding coming in.

Foster Emergency PDF Print E-mail
ELEVEN dogs, 6 females, 5 males, have come into rescue today. They are young and incredibly adoptable. They just need a place to stay where they can be loved on and socialized until their forever homes are identified. If you can help, please contact Terry Sandlak as soon as possible at 727-686-4186.

There are currently several adoption applications in the works, and young dogs are often adopted quickly. If you could use a little extra-soft fluff wafting around the house for a few weeks, this is your opportunity!

It is possible there will be another group of young dogs coming in very quickly, so this is really an emergency. They have already had their first round of shots, and crates are available if needed.
