The photo contest is over. Calendars will be onsale at the October picnic.
We’re excited to announce that the FGPC 2010 Rescue Calendar photo contest is underway! We are looking for you to submit pictures of your GREAT PYRENEES doing what they do best … looking majestic, getting into trouble or acting their sweetest. This is not your typical staged, buy-in-the-mall calendar. It’s made of real Pyr photos taken by their loving owners!
There is an entry fee of $10 per picture and there is no limit on how many pictures you may submit. All net proceeds will directly help FGPC efforts to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Great Pyrenees throughout Florida.
All entries must be received by August 30th. Once we’ve received all of the entries, the photos will be handed over to a non-partial Calendar Committee. This Committee will select 13 photos … one for the cover, as well as one for each month of the year. (Space permitting, we’re hoping to include all non-selected photos on the back cover in a collage format.)
Calendars will be available for sale at the October and December picnics, as well as by mail.
