 Hey! I'm Balto! I'm being tested as a LGD. I'm 4 years old and very kind and sweet! I get along well with my entire pack including a cat and a little dog! I think I have a bit of Akbash in me and I've been trying to put on some weight. I really like guarding my home and my people. I am not a big fan of thunder or closed in spaces but as long as I have people around I do ok. I am being treated for heart worms so it shouldn't be much longer until I'm heart worm free. I really enjoy having lots of space to roam about and love being loved on my people! I can be pretty chill and laid back, unless I sense a threat to my home! Then I'm up in a flash and on guard! I know the difference between strangers and friends of the family and sure enjoy company!! I have good leash manners and am not frightened by cars, dogs or other activity outside and I like to go on walks and other adventures with my foster family. Do you need a guard dog and new best friend? I think I might be the pyr-fect dog for you!
